You may be on LinkedIn from quite some time, but did you really use your profile to speak to a potential recruiters, send an inmail related to a job opening or find job opening?

Almost 80% of the LinkedIn users have no updated information about their current role or their past role. This is misusing the privilege of being on LinkedIn.

Below are few things that I would like to share with you, that can may come handy to you as a job seeker. It may not be today, but definitely, in the coming days.

1. Update your LinkedIn profile

Head hunters are always on a lookout for good candidates and they have an open eye for candidates on LinkedIn. If you are not serious about not having a great career or your next big job offer, let your LinkedIn profile SLEEP.

2. Try the Premium for FREE

LinkedIn gives all its users the benefit of trying out its premium features for free. But did you ever try it? The thing is candidates skip any step that involves entering their credit card details. Why is this a great deal? If someone is giving you something for FREE for ONE MONTH, at least try it out. And remember, you can always remove your credit card details anytime during the first month free usage. What’s the benefit you ask? Premium users get the advantage of sending 5 in-mail direct to recruiters. You get the chance to send personalized email to a recruiter to poster a job of your interest. You wouldn’t miss this, right???

P.S. Make sure you remove your credit card details and discontinue premium service of LinkedIn before the trial month ends.

3. Checkout who VIEWED your PROFILE

In regular subscription, you may not be able to view ‘who viewed your profile’, but you can check it out with the premium trial option. It includes include the head hunters and recruiters too.
